I am originally from a small town in Ohio. I have lived in North Carolina since 1996. I attended College of the Albemarle where I received my Associate of Arts Degree in 2003. I then went on to Fayetteville State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2006. I later went to North Carolina State University where I received my Masters Degree in Secondary English in 2015. My first teaching assignment was in 2007 was at Lewis Chapel Middle School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am a avid reader, love to be on or near the water, and to spend time with my family.
